no.. i'm not referring to the ultra-popular sitcom friends but rather predictably, it's Smallville!!! i juz watched the recently aired episode and i must admit, it was one of the best for the whole season~! ;) no more crappy storylines wif krytonite-empowered supervillains or annoying lana-chloe-clark emotional struggles! haha.. however, the aforesaid love triangle comes to a culmination wif lana & clark snogging in the barn... TWICE! well well well... finally!! anyhow, mushy romantic subplots aside, this episode had a number of other dramatic events; dr walden awakened frm his coma & had an 'explosive' confrontation with clark, lionel luthor blackmailed chloe into assisting him to investigate clark's true nature, helen & lex go thru relationship difficulties despite approaching nuptial hour... wif all these going-ons, the show is littered wif quotable quotes and fantastic one-liners! so cool~ LOL I am definitely awaiting the season finale wif eager anticipation. however, am quite depressed about it too... monday nights will never be the same again wif smallville gone! *sobsob but then, season three is already playing in the states.. its only a matter of time before it is aired on s'pore screens too!! *hurrah!
despite all appearances, i am NOT a smallville junkie Nor a couch potato. in reality, i hardly watch any television at night becuz the telly in the living room is monopolized by my mom & sis and they always require their daily dosage of suria/Rtm dramas or soap operas. not that i have anything against malay productions though.. (i think rahsia perkahwinan is a great show; its juz that i rarely catch it. ;P ) However, smallville has quite an ardent following in my household ;-).. my nieces juz lurve the show (they wud always sing to the themesong's chorus!) and mom lurves anything wif gorgeous actors in it... hence, smallville has practically become a monday night staple! ;p
okie.. enuff about reel life. Back to REAL life.
my younger bro had his sgh appointment today but he didnt inform me about it yesterday. so idiotic! thus, by the time i came to know about it frm mom, it was already too late.. it was definitely IMpossible fer me to get to sgh in time to accompany him to see his specialist. however, mom claimed to have tried waking me up around 9 or 10am.. but suffice to say, i cant remember a single thing!!! she shud have shouted in my ear or sumthing.. she knows how i can sleep like a log sometimes...
in the evening, went down to jurongpoint awhile wif tjay to have dinner at banquet foodcourt. i juz LOVE the food over there but the place was thronged wif mats, minahs, pakciks & makciks of all ages. how typical. But anyway, was lucky enuff to find a four-seater and chacha joined us soon after. Made a few rounds at the pasar malam but it was the same old stuff; nuthin really spectacular. i didn't get anything fer myself at all but tjay seemed to be on a spree.. must be stress.. LOL. we had our obligatory kopis at the kopitiam behind coffeebean (yeah, not only are we caffeine junkies, we're also cheapskate! LOL ) but were chased out around tenpm by the ahpek there. ended up in a nearby park chitchatting & gossiping... FACT: Guys DO gossip & i'm not excluding str8 guys either... ;p Roughly reached home a quarter b4 midnite... Not a bad evenin' out at all~ ;-)
eddy cuzzie invited me fer his meet-the-parents-reception on saturday at the police academy but it's at eight thirty in the freaking morning! Waking up THAt early is next to impossible! he suggested that i hitch a ride in najib cuzzie's car though but nevermind, i think i'll still give it a pass... i'm juz not cut-out to be an early riser, i guess. Was online fer a little while juz now and bumped into fazlee in irc. He's setting off for taiwan this coming saturday as he's been 'arrowed' to accompany a reccee team. he'll be gone fer a fortnight and will be back juz in time fer the fasting month. Nevertheless, he has to go abroad again fer exercise wallaby in early november. WhOA! so poor thing, rite?? what a wretched time to be away from your family.. *haiz. kinda feel sad fer him but there is nuthin' much he can do about it.. Such is the nature of national service (u just virtually Serve And Fuckoff).
hmmm... i wonder what the weekend will bring...
ps: my nieces are now OBSessed about the pernikahan dini song! i used to think it was rather crappy but it's rather infectious actually... ;)
