it's a warm night tonight. not a trace of a breeze or an errant wind at all.. and as usual, i canNOT get myself to sleep.. wHat is WRONG wif me??? *sigh*
Rather than toss and turn in bed not doin anything but fret about not being able to get any shut-eye, i decided to do sumthing of a more constructive nature. afterall, i dont like to spend my time idling... not if i can help it anyway. ;p SO here I am... bloggin away at four am in the morning or night or wadever you wanna call it. but seriously, i think the reason for my sleeplessness tonight is not really difficult to pinpoint; there've been certain issues in my mind lately, you see...
but that's not sumthing i'd follow up at this moment, unfortunately. ;)
anyhow, i havent really been updating my blogsite regularly or keeping track of my activities. well, fer starters, last saturday was bowling day fer me & my blogmates.. it was alrite except fer the fact that we had to wait nearly TWO GODDAMN freakin' hours fer a free lane! not only that, ended up playin next to a bunch of FAT minahs and their mat boyfrens! urgh~ ended up playin two games cuz we missed our last train, afterwhich we had our latenight suppers at S11 cityhall.
sunday, was out at my cuzzie's plc fer a get-together makan2 & stuff.. obviously, met a handful of my long-lost aunties, uncles & cuzzins.. & all of whom i can't remember the names! harhar~! actually, the weekend wud have been great if not for my dizzy spells whose source could only be attributed to the piriton tablets i had been taking fer my flu. or maybe it was the codeine-based cough syrup. or the paracetamols. or the mixed-up contacts. WAdever.
monday was pretty much a blur except fer the EXCellent row at night which occurred right smack before smallville... spoiled my mood.. and it was quite a good episode too (fer a change); lana lang's childhood fren supposedly came back to haunt her.. creepy~! moreover, next week's preview showed a split-second scene of lana & clark snogging!! is that cool or wat???! *sniggers*
tuesday was a bummer day. had problems wif blogger... enuff said! however, watching the azmeen fella perform on anugerah was certainly THE highlight of my week.. erm, but he has GOt to do sumthing about his fishy-looking eyes.. his voice sounded impressively impassioned but his facial expressions looked too.. erm.. apathetic?? well anyhow, two more contestants got kicked out; dinodi & this rashid fella though i think both showed improvements in their performances. in my opinion, nordiah (wif the shaky voice) and the ugly guy wif trembly lips should be the ones axed that night. oh well, the judges must be INSANE. that's the Only plausible explanation. harhar. but then, the producers finally abolished the ridiculous fifty-percent audience voting criteria and replaced it wif an equally ridiculous twenty-percent rule. Twenty percent??!! once assimilated into the final scores, i think those votes could hardly amount to anything really significant. thus, might as well scrape it altogether... on a side note, i spotted eka marina in the studio audience. cant wait to hear her sing next week!!!!
wednesday was children's day... too bad i woke up late so couldn't catch the television specials on kid's central. oh yeah, and tjay passed his driving test; and it was only his second try!! is that cool or wat?!!! woohoo~! am so proud of him! congrats, dear friend! all your efforts & prayers havent been in vain afterall! *beams affectionately*
so that's the end of my retrospection of the past week. right now, am trying to decide whether ramli sarip's or ebiet G ade's version of camelia sounds better. the former's husky vocals ARe pretty appealing but the latter's smooth & soothing delivery is also rather captivating... hmmm...
