..as such, there will be no anugerah review this week.
I received an urgent message from my younger bro saying that my elder bro had been referred to NUH A&E by the polyclinic doctor who suspected he might have contracted pneumonia (or sumthing else equally serious). That was at 8pm. Fortunately, the initial prognosis was just a false alarm and the latter wasnt warded (he got 3 days MC instead); thus, I was able to get safely home by 11pm... On our way back, the cab driver disclosed to us that another series of blackouts had struck again. This time, the damage was more extensive I think; many neighbourhoods from areas as diverse as those in the west, northeast and central parts of singapore were affected. From inside the cab, I noticed that rows of streetlamps on some main roads werent working and in some areas, the traffic lights werent working either! Thank god the roads we were on werent busy or crowded with vehicles so therefore, our journey home was pretty smooth.
I was wondering why I'm feeling so exhausted and then I remembered; earlier on in the late afternoon, I went down to the woodlands public pool for a swim. Managed to do twenty laps without much difficulty... but I guess aching muscles are inevitable when one hasnt been exercising for ages! LOL.
