the many things which I love about geylang; the colorful clothes...

the colorful plastic flowers...

the food and the crowd...

the lights...

the lights...

and the lights!! ;)

It's really funny how this place doesnt seem to change with the passing of the years; once upon a time, I greatly despised the geylang bazaar (especially the relentlessly pushy crowds of makciks, pakciks, mats & minahs!) yet only recently, within the last couple of years in actual fact, I have learnt to appreciate the eccentricities and peculiarities that mark this place as a malay cultural phenomenon. Probably, I am merely just rediscovering my roots... hehe..
