Something quite funny happened to me yesterday; I went out wearing my sister's contact lenses and didn't realise it 'til hours later when I was at Causeway Point and I thought, "EH~ how come my vision suddenly like so Blurry ARR???". Of course, only a sotong king like myself is capable of such a foolish mistake... and it was rather unpleasant walking around in a crowded place not being able to see anything beyond five meters clearly (I'm the sort of person who likes to see what's coming from a mile away). Yeah, I'm blind as a bat without my contacts and my sis' degrees are much lower than mine. Perhaps, I'll go thru' Lasik surgery sometime in the future... once I get sponsors lah.. hehe
Was at Marsiling last night, the shopping area near the Woodlands checkpoint, when I was hit by an insurmountable craving for satay. As luck would have it, ALL the satay stalls within the vicinity were closed. (I think it's a Monday night thingy cuz' even the satay stall near the market where I'm staying is closed on Mondays too... I THINK.) Anywayz, ended up at a coffeeshop near Causeway point which sold the most tasteless satay I've ever tasted in my life; the only good bits were the burnt, crispy parts of the meat. Oh well...
There's a "Uncle Ringo Uk Funfair" goin on at Woodlands and it seems kinda exciting. I'll drop by there someday soon just for the fun of it (it is a funfair afterall) but then, simply looking at some of the rides there made my tummy feel sorta funny. I think those rides may not be too good for my blood pressure; I may not have it yet, but hypertension is in my genes... lol
