I spent most of last night (after watching Desperate Housewives on tcs 5) mulling over the decision to switch my photo-blogging system from Blogger's Hello to Flickr. I've read up on the latter and decided to go ahead with the switch although I think the posted photos appear to be a tad too big for my taste. Anyhow, I'll just try it out for a couple of weeks and see how it goes.
Yesterday evening, one of my long-time gal-friends invited me out for dinner and to accompany her shop for a pair of new shoes at Causeway Point. (fact: I'm one of those few friends of hers who can tolerate her window-shopping habits exceptionally well. I must confess it takes a helluva lot of patience and endurance... ) We had agreed to meet at Jurong East mrt station platform roughly around 645pm but guess what time she finally turned up?? 730!! Luckily, I had my digicam with me so I spent the time snapping away some pictures...
This is the sad result of not having any dustbins in mrt stations anymore. I've had times when I almost went insane because I was looking for a proper place to throw away some piece of trash or other (I've got this perverse antipathy for litterbugs...). Nevertheless, I wasn't anal enough to pick up that Mars bar wrapper...
A shot of me from the viewpoint of the mrt's glass doors. YES -- my hair is too short and I've got chubby cheeks!! Now you know TWO reasons why I hate myself so much... LOL
I haven't had dinner at Causeway Point's Cavana in a long while and thus decided to try that place out... My black pepper spaghetti did look rather droolsome but seriously, I regretted not having dinner at Swenson's or Pizza Hut instead. Thankfully, the prices weren't too exorbitant except for their beef steak -- that was truly a blood-sucker!!!
