I know I've lamented not too long ago about how my ass is expanding at an exponential rate lately, but one of my long-time friends pointed out to me just recently that I've lost weight. Of course, I'm horrified because a) I don't want to look like a stick insect, b) I don't fancy skinniness at all and am an ardent supporter of the Feed Lindsay campaign.Thus, I really had an eating binge last saturday night at that new food center at East Coast Park and above picture is courtesy of my friend's Nokia phone. FYI, I really have a weak spot for sambal stingray and mutton-satay -- show me these two dishes and I'll buckle at the knees~!! LOL. Anyway, the food center has been open for quite awhile actually but the funny thing is that it never gets as crowded as Newton, Beach Road f.c. or sempang Bedok are apt to be. Its inaccessibility is probably a huge turn-off for some people; it's way out of the way from any public transport services. Still, the prices there are relatively more affordable and the food is decent enough (though quite ordinary). And like any other Singaporean, I'm a stickler for good bargains. =)
By the way, I'm crazy about this little retro snack -- sunflower seeds coated in sweet, cheapo chocolate! Yummy! Sure beats eating kuaci ~ (and no offence to anyone who likes the latter aite?).
