jukebox playin': John Denver - Annie's Song.
Two separate incidents occured today, which at once seemed rather foolish but upon hindsight, quite humorous (at least to me lah).
1) This afternoon, I accidentally walked into the demarcated space behind the cash register (instead of in front of it) to pay for my stuff at a neighbourhood bakery. The auntie at the cashiering till was pretty amused by my apparent sotong-ness but I could tell that a couple of her colleagues (i.e. fellow shop assistants) were quite alarmed. I can't blame them though -- they probably thought I had wanted to rob them or something. Fortunately, there weren't much customers at the time and thus, not many witnesses to my silly little "crime".
2) Approximately a couple of hours ago, I spilled a glass of 7-Up raspberry drink onto my keyboard -- by accident, of course. I was shaking my pc monitor vigorously (which was really causing problems of late) when I knocked over the aforesaid glass, which had been placed beside the monitor. Believe me, I had a difficult time trying to rid my keyboard of that raspberry-fizzy smell. I had to manually dismantle each key and painstakingly dry it off with a piece of cloth... As you can imagine, it was a very marfan process but at least now my keyboard looks (and smells) clean. However, the clikety clak of the keys sound a bit different now. More echo-ey i think. LOL
Everyone has an "off" day once in awhile -- a day when one is clumsier, stupid-er and blur-rer than normal and today was mine. Hopefully, I wont commit such "heinous crimes" again tomorrow, or for the rest of the week for that matter.
Talking about heinous crimes, I've realised that that there has been too much blood spilled on our little island within these past couple of days. From armed gunmen to murderous husbands; -- What's next???
