Came back abit later than normal frm tuition just now; Simply had to stay awhile after lesson to finish a slice of home-made apple pie which the kid's mom made... It was indeed as yummy as I had expected it to be. LOL
Truthfully, I'm feeling abit shagged (doing maths for a couple of hours has that effect on me) but this headline on yahoo's homepage caught my eye:
Deer gets inside house, attacks Ohio woman
I've always thought that deers are cute, adorable and fluffy creatures like the ones you see on Disney's Bambi (remember that one?) and Animal Planet. Or like the sang kancil kind. (But then, didn't a reindeer kick Arnold Swarzenegger's butt in Jingle All The Way??)
Well anyway, here's an excerpt from the aforementioned article...
...Mary Blake of suburban Cleveland opened her patio door Wednesday to let her border collie back inside and was shocked when a female deer followed close behind. One of my form teachers in secondary school once wrote in my report book that I had a rather "wry sense of humour." I used to wonder what she meant by that...
Blake says she tried to shut the door, but the deer knocked it off track and then knocked into Blake and started stomping her.
Blake frantically called police as the deer damaged her walls, furniture and some keepsakes.
Two police officers arrived and were able to coax the deer outside.
Blake was treated at the hospital for bruises and cuts on her arms, legs and stomach. She has 27 stitches on her right knee.
