It's been a week filled with mixed-up emotions -- I feel much like learning how to swim again after a long time of not being in deep water, or that kind-of-thing.
Amid my anxiety and stress (and a little excitement too) however, I'd like to make a quick shout-out to a dear, dear old friend in Taiwan who just gave birth to a baby girl. Alhamdulillah! I really miss her alot and though she might not be reading this, it's really such a relief to know that somewhere out there, a pair of happy and proud parents are celebrating the purest gift God could bestow upon us mortals -- the gift of life!
I'm just abit miffed that I won't be able to fly down for a visit anytime soon and consequently, would have no idea when I'd be able to get my hands on that teensy-weensy-cutesy thing and tell her, "Say hello to Uncle Duan!!" LOL~
