As expected, didn't finish my paperwork over the weekend and now have to burn the midnight oil weekday nights trying to catch up.
Of course, it's all my fault for underestimating the nature of the work at hand, letting myself be deceived by the non-threatening quantity of it instead. Giving me a migraine just thinking about it. WHATEVER. I just cannot wait until the end of this month when it all ends. With a blast. Sort of.
Was talking to one of my colleagues earlier today about the coming Ramadhan, which will be due in a few weeks. Both of us agree that housekeeping will definitely be one of the top priorities on our list of things-to-do. Yucks.
And was watching the news earlier. Overturned bus killing twenty in Malaysia, flood in Korea, another suicide bombing in Iraq, unresolved Taliban hostage crisis, collapsed bridge in China, impending hurricane in Hawaii, train derailed by bomb blast in St. Petersburg.... Seriously, current affairs have never looked more dismal.
No wonder I've been feeling abit down lately. LOL.
